February 28, 2026
On February 28, five Nika gymnasts stepped onto the competition floor in Atlanta, Georgia — and every single one of them stepped off it with a medal. Here is how the day went.
First place — floor & ball
Gold & silver
Each girl competed in two events — a floor routine and a ball routine — performed solo, to music, in front of a panel of USA Gymnastics judges.

Warm-up before the floor
A medal is the last thirty seconds of months of work. Behind every routine in Atlanta were weeks of practice at our Oak Ridge studio — stretching, repeating the same element until it feels easy, and learning to perform it calmly with judges watching.
For young gymnasts, competition day is a lesson of its own: warming up next to girls from other clubs, waiting for your name, walking out alone onto a big carpet — and showing what you can do. That takes real courage at any age, and our girls handled it beautifully.
